5 essential couture for your designer ethnic wardrobe

2018 has been an amazing and momentous journey for the Indian Fashion industry, celebrities wedding has been the talk this whole year  call it the Virat-Anoushka effect spillover from last year. Sonam-Anand, Deepika-Ranveer, Priyanka-Nick and Ipsha-Anand. Designer and Fashionistas have not beeen far behind, creating some of the most gorgeous designs, jewelry and accessories on the ramp and off the ramp. The question that a number of clients have been asking of me “What I would advise on the 5 most essential outfits that they should have in their wardrobe for 2019.

I believe an outfit within each of the following categories - classic ethnic, comfort-fashion, celebrity-fashion, fusion-fashion and see now wear now-fashion will be a great start.

A forever style for classic ethnic to own is Lehenga- Choli. In my mind amongst the most elegant style in the world. Keep in mind you want to keep up with the trending colors in 2019 (I will cover that on another blog)

A style craze in comfort-fashion in 2018 was a pullover style draped indian dress. While I am very tempted to say this will continue in 2019 for its fashion and utility quotient , in my mind a must have should be a Embroidered Kaftan

Look no further for celebrity fashion .Hurry and Own a Chikankari dress coutured for 2019.

With formal events, concerts, social evenings, fund raisers and girls night outs on the increase an Indian embroidered gown off or on shouldered is fast becoming a must have style in your wardrobe.

Runway designs have taken months to be available, 2017 & 18 have seen some tremendous changes in the speed to market. This one is bit more difficult to crystal ball, I am still working on the spring/summer ‘19 looks. My advise here is to -go cape or no cape styled outfit with more colored prints and sequins work.
